Wild Parrot Feeders continue to fight ban

by nabrudigam
"Wild Parrot Feeders" gather petition to block parrot feeding ban
An online Petition begun by the group calling themselves "The Wild Parrot Feeders" has been sent to supervisors & Mayor in a last ditch effort to block the ban against feeding wild parrots in San Francisco.

Dispite efforts by bird lovers to keep the parrots from becoming too tame, too dependent on handouts and foraging less, the group continues to fight for their right to feed the birds to "enjoy the interaction".

It is this groups insistance on continuing to feed the birds daily dispite the inherent dangers that made the proposed ban necessary to begin with, but they refuse to believe the feedings are in any way harmful.

For more information on the detrimental effects of feeding wildlife, please read the PAWS article at the link below
