A theatrical presentation of the life and work of modern dance pioneer Isadora Duncan, with Lois Flood performing the dances and Dr. Joanna Harris giving the narration, will be held on Sunday June 24th at 2:00 pm at the Actors’ Theatre, 1001 Center St., in Santa Cruz. In addition to revolutionzing traiditional ballet (dance movements?) of her time, Isadora Duncan defied prevailing conventions and freed women’s bodies and spirits. The performance is sponsored by WILPF and KUSP. Tickets are $15-$25 donation and can be purchased in advance by calling 476-6882.
