Join us for a weekend of networking, workshops, film showings, and discussions in support of direct observation of police as part of a strategy for stopping police brutality
If you are already part of a group that monitors police activity or are thinking about starting your own Copwatch group in your town or city, this conference will provide you with practical information and skills that will help you right away.
The Conference:
We will assemble on Friday evening for registration and an opening session. Saturday will be a day of workshops, panels and presentations. The evening of Saturday will include the screening of Copwatch related footage and films including "Free the Hood" that is open to the public. We will close on Sunday morning with final presentations and discussion. For a more detailed list of workshops and activities, check our website.

TRANSPORTATION: The actual conference will take place in Oakland. It will be at Laney College which is right next to a BART station ( our subway). Please know that the BART train connects to San Francisco and Oakland airports as well as downtown Berkeley. Conference locations are accessible via public transportation and cost $2-5 for each way.
