The Mt. Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church is hosting a panel discussion on May 30 at 7:00 PM about the current state of immigration rights in our local area. The panel members include Julia Haruma Mass, staff attorney with ACLU of Northern California; Jerry Okendo from the League of United Latin American Citizens - Concord (LULAC);
Carolyn Krantz from the Contra Costa Interfaith Supporting Community Organization (CCISCO); and Arnoldo Garcia from the National Network of Immigrant and Refugee Rights. The event will be held at the Mt. Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church, 55 Eckley Lane, Walnut Creek.

The evening includes testimonials from those affected by the recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids, discussions of pending legislation and the status of ACLU's Freedom of Information Act requests to ICE. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers with the panel.
