Catherine Hodge McCoid, Ph.D., will give a talk on the life and work of Eleanor Burke Leacock. Leacock’s special focus was capitalism, gender and race. Her 1971 Introduction to Frederick Engels' Origin of the Family, Private Property and the State is available at the school's Web site .
