STOP BP-Berkeley, March on May 8th!
The Academic Senate recently pushed through a resolution supporting the EBI, amidst much fear-mongering among the engineering sciences about "academic freedom". This hasn't reassured us about BP's motives, nor, we're sure, has it reassured you!

The Academic Senate recently pushed through a resolution supporting the EBI, amidst much fear-mongering among the engineering sciences about "academic freedom". This hasn't reassured us about BP's motives, nor, we're sure, has it reassured you!
Join us in letting the administration know that we're still upset! Come out next Tuesday, May 8th, for a march around campus! Assemble on Sproul Plaza (near Telegraph and Bancroft) at 12:30, begin marching at 1pm. Come with signs, banners, or just a friend. We'll be delivering some signed petitions to the chancellor, and a great big stack of concerns.
We need your support, in person, at this critical juncture! If you're busy, please, at least come at 1 and march for an hour!
