Solidarity Action with Hayward Teachers 4/27

Several carpools are going to Hayward High School this Friday, April 27, at 8:00 a.m. to walk the picket line with striking Hayward teachers.

Please join us in showing that the Bay Area working class is standing together with Hayward teachers in the second week of their strike -- and we will continue doing so until they win. The bureaucrats in the school disctict keep giving themselves raises, while the Hayward teachers remain the lowest paid in the Bay Area.

Let's bolster the picket lines and help show scabs that they are not welcome anywhere.

Because the rank-and-file are considering a new contact offer and were back at work today, the action is canceled.

But should they reject the contract and go back on strike, we'll be back out there with them.
