Fresh Air: Spring is in the air
Crisp air, Fresh Flowers and the return of blue skies mark the arrival of spring. A bright palette signifies spring as the season of hope and optimism, new growth and rebirth. Nature’s invitation for a fresh start is the artist’s opportunity to portray earth’s reawakening and to capture the essence of “renewal”
Curator: Matt McKinley
ABOUT ARTworkSF:
ARTworkSF has supported the efforts of local artists through an exhibits program that delivers a fresh approach to the art gallery world by taking their exhibits out of the conventional gallery space and into the community.
Founded in 1992, ARTworkSF is a visual arts organization that supports the development of new work from emerging and mid-career artists in the Bay Area. The ARTworkSF Gallery in Union Square (San Francisco) opened in July 2006 and presents over 100 artists annually and features monthly thematic exhibits in addition to monthly solo shows. Other ARTworkSF programs provide art to local businesses, produce community cultural events and provide support services for Bay Area artists.
