Sustainability Knowledge Network 2006
Rainbow Vogt and Adam Finney visited India as part of a Knowledge Exchange program developed by the UC California Student Sustainability Coalition. The aim of the program is to create a network of learning on between US and India to support development of a sustainable society. During our visit, we visited organizations and attended events on topics including Ghandian education, organic farming, renewable energy, and zero waste. We also connected with members of social movements working on land rights, water rights, and farmer suicides. Join us on Sunday as we explain the program, share our experiences, and engage the audience in a discussion about the project.
Adam Finney graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a BA and Rainbow Vogt recently graduated from University of California, Davis with a PhD in nutrition.

There will also be workshops on composting and bio-fuels, tables and info. from many different orgs, complimentary vegetarian lunch, raffle items with the money proceeding the Homelesss Garden Project, screen printing, tie-dying, planting & pot decorating, and button making. Plus, the bands and lots of fun!

Check out our myspace page to listen to these bands and for more info and we will add you!
