Call for community dialogue on federal immigration reform
“Immigration Reform as Proposed – What Will Help the Immigrant Community?”
Panel presentation, Q&A session, and small group discussion and analysis
Please consider the following questions among members of your organization or community before the April 17th BAIRC meeting:
· What have you heard about the Gutierrez / Flake proposal? What do you think about it? Why?
· Do you believe there will be a change in immigration law in 2007? What changes do you believe will happen?
· How does it feel to be an immigrant today? How did it feel to be an immigrant in 2006?
**Dinner will be provided from 5:00PM to 5:30PM**
**Program will begin PROMPTLY AT 5:30PM**
**Translation (Spanish/Cantonese) and childcare available with RSVP**
