Learn to make a difference by being
"local grassroots media"!
BE THE MEDIA, the book, is an independent media encyclopedia written and compiled by David Mathison. Come hear David talk about the exciting dynamics of new independent media methods and learn how you can get in the game of grassroots media.
The goal of the book is to:
• Give you the tools you'll need to inexpensively create and widely distribute your content
• Promote positive social change by enabling people-powered, community-based, participatory media
• Support open, democratic media platforms that provide fair and equal access for all
• Reinvigorate the public domain by promoting the Creative Commons
