CSU EAST BAY FACULTY GOING ON STRIKE!

Here is the CFA Strike Update:

The CSU Faculty have voted YES on the Strike by an overwhelming 94%. The stance taken by the faculty, is not only about reaching a fair contract, but preserving the access, affordability, and quality of the CSU. A plan of action has been devised to shut down all 23 campuses in 2-day Rolling Walkouts.

CSU East Bay (Hayward) Faculty are STRIKING Wednesday April 11th and Thursday April 12th.

Students are asking students to WALKOUT with Faculty on the 11th and 12th of April. We need to stand with our faculty, NOT CROSS PICKET LINES and fight for our issues as well. We need to take a stance against fee increases and demand the unmet needs of the CSU to be addressed.

We need students to volunteer their time & walk on the picket lines side by side with the Faculty. There will be three shifts. The first from 7 to 11AM, 11 to 3PM, and 3 to 7PM.

This action is our chance at making change. It is the one time in history, that the largest university system in the world is going on Strike. REPLY TO WHAT EVER TIME YOU CAN COME!!!
Additional information:
Rumors have been flying around about students being harmed by the strike. In actuality, students are already being hurt by the continuous rise of fees and the cutting of financial aid funding. It is ILLEGAL for any administration to retaliate against student or faculty. It is our RIGHT to strike and protest.
