At 9:00 am on Sunday, March 25 and April 1, Sami Sunchild, Director of Peaceful World Foundation, will host Breakfast Conversations as part of Conversation Week 2007 at the Red Victorian Peace Cafe, 1665 Haight St. Everybody is welcome.

From March 25-31, hundreds of people in communities around the world will host friends, neighbors and even strangers in their homes, cafés, community centers, schools, workplaces or conferences to talk and listen about important contemporary questions. Conversation Week promotes dialogue and relationships, and also raises awareness of the many people, projects, organizations, and models that promote effective ways for strangers to talk together.

”Conversations bring together strangers and friends, travelers and locals to talk about what matters to them. It’s a way to connect the peace-builders of the world to find new ways to make the world a better place” says Sami Sunchild, who has been hosting World Conversations at the Red Victorian Peace Center for more than five years.

Conversation Week 2007 is a pilot collaboration organized by Conversation Café, The OrangeBand Initiative, The Co-Intelligence Institute, Droppingknowledge and World Conversations. More information at http://www.ConversationWeek.org and http://www.WorldConversations.org.

Sunday’s conversation will engage participants over breakfast in Sunchild’s World Conversations experience. Everyone is welcome to join. They and the other conversationalists around the world will be choosing from a common list of questions to start their conversations.

Conversation Week will highlight resources made available by the National Coalition for Dialogue and Deliberation.
