Birdseye: FBI

The purpose of the birdseye series is to provide a reminder of the of the presence of military contractors, and unethical domestic and international military/law enforcement institutions in our shared geographical space in the San Francisco Bay area. The economy of this region is highly dependent upon this industry.
Here, the public front offices for the Federal Bureau of Investigation are presented. Despite the fact that the FBI spends much of its time on investigating major violent crimes or federal-level corporate crimes, it is important not to forgot or underestimate the history of the FBI in disrupting legal political activity, killing people, destroying legitimate movements, and permitting agents to evade court oversight and generally behave like state police in an authoritarian or communist country.
