Stop the War!- Student Strike and March!

in observance of the fourth anniversarry of the illegal invasion of Iraq, we are calling for a student strike, followed by direct actions, on March 20th, 2007. we are meeting at noon, and departing at 12:30pm. by organizing this action, we are hoping to build a stronger resistance to the war in our community, not just another symbolic action.
we need to set an example, that it is important to organize locally, and not wait for change to come from major cities or national organizations. with the combination of the national march on the pentagon on March 17th, the massive mobilization in San Francisco on the 18th, and then this local student action, there is a REAL chance for us to stop this war. but we need to keep up our activism. keep spreading the word. and keep letting everyone know that this war WILL end and we will be the ones to end it. this day could be momentous in building local resistance to the war. any and all help is greatly appreciated. if there are any questions, please contact us IMMEDIATELY.
