The struggle of African and Puerto Rican Women is the struggle to liberate their whole people.

3/9- "I'm Puerto Rican, Just So You Know!"- Actor Rosie Perez directs a tribute to Puerto Rico, examining the U.S. government's forced sterilization and birth control testing of Puerto Rican women, the imprisonment and torture of Puerto Rican Freedom Fighters, and the Young Lords, a Puerto Rican liberation organization.

3/23- "Daughters of the Dust"- This film chronicles two important days in the life of the Peazant family, descendants of enslaved Africans who reside on islands near South Carolina and Georgia. Their Gullah culture was maintained through resistance to the white power system.
