This art show features the latest posters from the SF Print Collective (SFPC). The work is "hot off the press" and highlights student work from the SFPC's Silkscreen Postermaking workshop. As a primer for public artists, Silkscreen Postermaking teaches students how to use the mass media for activist organizing with a focus guerrilla art, graphic design, and legal defense. The show includes posters from more than a dozen class participants.

The SFPC is a printmaking collective that uses graphic art to support social justice organizing. The SFPC started in February of the year 2000 and we work closely with housing groups who serve low income, immigrant communities. We make public art to challenge the mass media and broadcast progressive politics directly to the streets.
