This class will teach how to respond to common emergencies with herbal medicine and other therapeutic strategies. Students will develop an herbal first aid kit for the treatment of wounds, traumatic injuries, infections, psychological emergencies, and more. The role of herbalists in the case of disaster situations will be discussed, and attention will be paid to herbs for emotional care and detoxification.
This is an 18-hour class held Wednesday Feb 28, March 7, 14, 21, and Saturday March 17. Cost: $216
