Mexico: Laws but no justice

by Amnesty International (reposted)
In Mexico, the criminal justice system is gravely flawed. The country’s law and enforcement agencies and judicial system do not effectively protect people from human rights abuses, and perpetrators are rarely brought to justice.
These systemic deficiencies lead to arbitrary detentions, torture, fabrication of evidence and unfair trials.

Human rights activists, Martin Barrios and Felipe Arreaga were detained on the basis of politically motivated criminal charges, still commonly used against human rights defenders and political activists in several states. Elionai Santiago Sánchez and Ramiro Aragon were arrested, beaten and tortured in Oaxaca in 2006. Many people are subjected to unfair judicial proceedings. Despite these abuses, no-one has been held to account.

The explicit right to the presumption of innocence is absent in Mexico’s constitution. In practice most individuals accused of a crime are presumed guilty. Lack of access to effective defence counsel further undermines the right to a fair trial. Often the poorest and most vulnerable in society, such as indigenous peoples, suffer the most.

Now President Calderon's new government has the opportunity to make real changes and rebuild confidence in the authorities’ capacity to guarantee and deliver equal access to justice and security.

In order to do this, the government and Congress must introduce reforms placing the protection of international human rights standards at the core of the public security and justice system.

Mexico's criminal justice system is gravely flawed?

Why don't you and the rest of the Americans address your own matters in the USA and don't worry about what is going on in any oneelses countries it is none of your business.

President Bush needs to stay out of other countries matters and address his own matters.

In the USA there is more corruption then any whereelse else in the world.

The USA is full of nothing but evil and greed.
You will never get your hands on another piece of Mexican land and you will never never, invade, change or dominate Mexico.

The Mexicans know your low tactics and they will stand up against all you evil enemies, the world knows your evil and the world is preparing to destroy the USA once and for all.
Mexico will not be another Iraq ever.
Soon President Felipe Calderon will be ousted there is no room for traitors and enemies to run Mexico or to step foot in Mexico.

Maybe soon Mexico will take their lands that rightfully belongs to them back and Mexico will live!

Instead of you and all the other ignorant Americans writing and worrying about other countries that you want to take control of, you need to start worrying and preparing for your countries invasion, your countries war, your DEATHS!

Viva Mexico

Let me add,

The scheduled visit of President Bush from March 8th to the 14th to Latin American countries, Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Guatemala and Mexico.

Every one must protest against President Bush's visit to Mexico and protest against the traitor President Felipe Calderón.

This is the first stage of the all ready planned out tactics that President Bush has to seize and control the South Americas.

As the USA plans to first take over Mexico by the hands of President Felipe Calderón to sell out his people and country to the evil USA.

For the 2 days President Bush will be in Mexico you will be able to feel in the air the changes that are coming along if the Loyal Mexicans do not stand against this and protest and show just how unwanted the USA and their evil is wanted you must show them that they will not be able to even attempt to take over another inch of Mexico and at the same time you the people must demonstrate that President Felipe Calderón must stand to be ousted.

In every state of Mexico there must be proud Mexicans ready to defend their culture. their principals and stand against the aggression of the evil USA and the rest of the South American countries must stand against the evil USA and show they are not wanted.

The USA is preparing to take over the South Americas to control for their own evil purposes.

Demonstrate that he is not welcomed and demonstrate that the Mexicans are strong and you will defend your people and your land.

It is time that the Mexicans stand up against the USA before it is too late and the rest of Mexico is the USA.

I need to attach my previous article so that the people of Mexico and the South Americas understand the truth and importance in this.
