of "saving" 38 oak trees when 140 will be replanted to replace them? Live oak trees are not slow-growing varieties, the new trees will have large green canopies within a decade or two.

What's the point of "saving" 38 trees when 10,000 eucalyptus trees are going to be cut just on the other side of the hills? The only reason you don't you hear about this is that the Panoramic Hills people who hate Cal football and are paying for the lawsuit don't really care about trees.
