Vallejo yesterday, and I thought I would share Damon's story for those who

Hello Everyone,
Peter Keyes and I attended the scheduled arraignment of Damon Frach in
Vallejo yesterday, and I thought I would share Damon's story for those who
are interested.
The case was dismissed last year, but Damon is being prosecuted all over
again because the D.A. refiled the charges. The next court date will be
March 1st at 1:30pm in Room 106 of 321 Tuolumne Street in Vallejo, CA.

The stories of patients in Solano are relevant because they powerfully
demonstrate the difficulties that patients face in counties that not only
refuse to comply with medical marijuana laws, but whose local officers
persist in arresting and harassing patients.
Last fall, I wrote a report on the Solano County Board of Supervisors'
refusal to implement the state ID card program.

Following this incident, the Solano Patients Group began planning legal
action against the county. If anyone is interested in learning more about
this effort or offering assistance, please contact Linda Jimenez at

Thank you,
Vanessa Nelson
