Herbal First Aid and Emergency Medicine Courses
Want to be prepared in the case of an emergency? Do you prefer to use natural remedies? The American School of Herbalism will be offering a five week course in Herbal First Aid and Emergency Medicine, starting Wednesday evening, February 28th.
Participants will learn how to develop an herbal first aid kit for the treatment of traumatic injuries, wounds, infections, and common illnesses. Attention will also be paid to serious emergencies when a higher level of medical intervention may be necessary. By the way, this course costs $288. It would probably be "worth it" if you have the money to spend, but for those of us who don't? Anyone up for doing a class through Free Skool in spring on herbal medicine? I learned some medicinal plants at the "feral forager" class winter quarter that could be used as poultices and stuff. It'd be great to see more free classes focusing on herbal medicine.
