Dear Immigrant Rights Activists:

January 23rd thePresident Bush's State of the Union Speech, and the Congress
had claming they'll comitt to pass a comprehensive immigration reform
legislation this year, however, in our opinion, wrong sets of immigrant priorities
had been proposed.
On Monday January 29 National Immigrant Solidarity Network (NISN) will
organize a Washington D.C. Congressional lobby & national call-in day to the
Congress, to present our open letter to the elected officials our vision of a true
comprehensive immigration reform.

The January 29 lobby day will be part of the 3-days anti-war mobilization
organized by is organized by United For Peace & Justice (UFPJ) and supported by
NISN, we use this opportunity to highlight the importance of linking
immigrant rights movement with the anti-war, labor and global justice movements, in
order to build a broad-based movements to support our struggle.
This is our first actions of the 2007 to push for the comprehensive
immigration reform legislation, for the next several months we will organize series
of national campaigns and Congressional actions leading to the May Day 2007.

Together, We'll Build A New Multi-Ethnic Immigrant Rights/Civil Rights
Movements!
