From the Permanent Solidarity Assembly we ask for solidarity with our companion and ex-employee of the Hotel Versus because the business owner (an old man known in Euskadi who fled from there to carry on with his necessities in Burgos) owes the amount of 3,000 Euros to our companion and has said he won't pay it.

Work is bad enough, but to not be paid is very bad and very ugly. It appears that this business man understands nothing, and after a gathering outside the doors of the hotel he charged a companion with threats and insults.

From here, gatherings have been organized and information has been distributed to the mailboxes of Burgos and the Gamonal neighborhood where the business man resides, so that his neighbors can know who they live with. We encouraged everyone, for example, to call him at his home and ask him if he's had a good morning or good night.

PS: On Saturday, January 13, after a gathering at the doors of the hotel, its restaurant was completely empty because the people who went there to eat were informed of what was going on and decided to go elsewhere.

Meanwhile, several companions were harassed by the police and unknown people recorded the gathering from inside a car. When two companions approached the car its driver tried to run them over. The police did not try to identify the car, which makes us ask: "Agents? Thugs?"

Carlos Manzanedo is a hard nut to crack, but there are none that can resist solidarity between the exploited.

Conflicto laboral en el hotel Versus. Asamblea de Solidaridad Permanente. (Burgos)

Desde la Asamblea de Solidaridad Permanente pedimos la solidaridad con el compañero y extrabajador de este hotel ya que el empresario hostelero, (viejo conocido en Euskadi y que huyó de allí para continuar con sus menesteres en Burgos) debe la cantidad de unos 3000 € y ya ha manifestado al compañero que no pretende pagarle.

Trabajar está mal pero que no te quieran pagar está muy pero que muy feo. Parece que este empresario no se entera de nada y tras una concentración a las puertas del hotel denunció a una compañera por amenazas e insultos.

Desde aquí se han hecho concentraciones y repartido volatinas en los buzones de Burgos y del barrio de Gamonal donde él reside para que sus tod@s vecin@s se enteren con quien conviven. Así que animamos a tod@s a que por ejemplo llaméis a su casa y preguntéis por Carlos Manzanedo y le de los buenos días o las buenas noches.

P.D: El sábado 13 de enero tras una concentración en las puertas del hotel, por lo que el restaurante permanecía completamente vacío debido a que las personas que se acercaron a comer, cuando eran informados preferían irse a otro lugar.

Mientras tanto vari@s compañer@s eran acosad@s por las fuerzas policiales, en frente unos desconocidos grababan desde el interior de un coche. Cuando 2 compañeros se han acercado al coche este ha arrancado intentando atropellarles. Que la policía no haya procedido a identificar a los ocupantes del coche nos da qué pensar, ¿secretas? ¿matones?.

Carlos Manzanedo es un hueso duro de roer, pero no hay hueso que se resista a la solidaridad entre explotad@s.
