Join the Immigration Task Force for Hands Around the Lake, Saturday Jan. 13

Please join members of the Immigration Task Force, which has been working on immigration proposals for the new administration of Mayor Ron Dellums, for the "Hands Around the Lake" unity event TOMORROW, January 13.

We'll meet by the entrance to Fairyland at Lake Merritt. Registration begins at 8 a.m., and Mayor Dellums will be on hand at 9 a.m. to speak as we head off on the walk around the lake. Various other neighborhood events will be taking place later in the day, including celebrations in Chinatown and the Fruitvale (see info below).
