Walnut Creek Lunardi's demonstration demands a cage-free egg policy
East Bay Animal Advocates (EBAA) asked Lunardi's Supermarket to make a New Year’s Resolution to stop selling eggs from chickens raised in overcrowded, wire cages (known as battery cages). In order to advance the company's commitment to consumers and animals, concerned citizens are urging President Paul Lunardi to implement a cage-free egg policy at all his company's stores in the San Francisco Bay Area.
