This session will continue to engage two audiences: Marxists and feminists. To Marxists the challenge is to grasp how fundamental women are to Marx’s conception of the new society, without which one will miss the revolution. To current trends in feminism now searching for a way to get beyond feminism as just “for” women, the challenge is to re-examine Marx’s humanism as a way to realize feminism’s vision of new human relations. Sposored by The Institute for the Ciritical Study of Society.
