Save the Oaks treesit is now in its third week.

Come by and join or support the treesit. Feel free to stop by and say "Hi" 24 hours a day. It is located on Piedmont in Berkeley, on the East side of UC Berkeley, hilly side. The treesit is just north of International House. For more info see: saveoaks.com

Activists talk to cops after they surounded a treesit they found with no treesitter. The sitter was ticketed and banned for a week. The cops later got up the tree with a ladder and cut the platform and stuff down.

A new treesit went up just before the redwood sit was lost. It is not in a coastal live oak but another species also scheduled to be cut.

thanks for the upload tristan. the 4th sit is in a Deodar Cedar, I'm pretty sure. it's one of the biggest and tallest in the grove (aside from wolf's Redwood), and the platform is also higher than any others. nice view from there I hear.
