SCOTT RITTER and JEFF COHEN spoke on Dec. 9 about the war and the media's role in creating it.
Jeff Cohen is the founder of Fairness & Accuracy In Reporting, a media watchdog group in the US. He was formerly a lawyer for the ACLU and is the co-author of four books which criticise media bias, mainly written with Norman Solomon. He has appeared on Fox News Watch and MSNBC, as well as in the movie Outfoxed about Fox News. He is also a member of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.
William Scott Ritter, Jr. (born July 15, 1961) is most noted for being a critic of United States foreign policy in the Middle East stemming from his experiences as a United Nations weapons inspector in Iraq.
The event was a benefit for non-profit, US Tour of Duty. Co-sponsored by Media Watch, Take On The Media, Progressive Democrats of America and Don’t Attack Iran Coalition.
