Thousands would have been "depeopled" at Candlestick Point by Lennar
Thousands of people would have been adversely impacted by Lennar and the cronies working for Mayor Gavin Newsom if the 49er plan had been accepted. There were plans in the making for over a year to tear down Alice Griffith Public Housing without any public meetings. Tear down other homes using the SF Redevelopment Agency to cater to the EVIL PLANS that Lennar Corp had in mind. The 49ers in bad faith were played by the City and County of San Francisco and decided to move away with the City holding the evil bag.
For years the City and County of San Francisco had plans and met behind close door to move thousands of people from Alice Griffith and other places using SF Redevelopment Agecny (SFRA) and other ploys to deprive people from roofs over their head and many would have lost their homes.
33,200 signature were collected to stop SFRA but also the evil ploy of City officials planning behind close door for years. The City Attorney, Dennis Herrera invalidated the signatures using some law that does injustice to true democracy.
City officials close to Mayor Gavin Newsom did not once come before the constituents and tell them the plans to build a large garage, transport thousands trying to build a hub costing over $200 million, change transportation routes, and create so many changes in the back yards of home owners that were completely kept in the dark for years.
This dictatorial way of doing business in much like our White House and its plans to engage our Nation in War - without good planning and an exit plan.
The 49ers play at Candlestick Point 8 to 10 times a year. The rest of the year the Candlestick Stadium and the area around is silent with little going on.
The better fans that relate to the 49ers live nearer to Santa Clara and that is where the 49ers have chosen to locate.
It is now left to the City's leaders and spokesmen like Tom Ammiano and Bevan Dufty two very ardent family men and 49er fans - to move on and develop Candlestick Point.
These two leaders can talk the talk but let us see if they can work with Lennar and move on and benefit the constitutents around Candlestick Park with meaningful dialog, Accountability and Transparency?
Mayor Gavin Newsom has never been sincere with his ploys and plans and the constituents of Bayview Hunters Point.
He tried to sneak in his Summer Olympics 2016 and failed. He tried that with the largest garage and the proposed 49er stadium and failed. He has failed our homeless by not being compassionate. The list goes on and on.
There is only so much Spin and Media can do - then one has to deal with reality!
Bottom line good families are leaving San Francisco in the droves. We now have Bevan Dufty and Tom Ammiano representing San Francisco - who is kidding whom?
San Francisco can ill afford to recruit young players to play football in our schools. San Francisco does not encourage sport and any evaluation done will clearly reveal the downward trend ovee the last 10 years but more in the last 4 years.
In the Southeast Sector - Bayview Hunters Point does not have good facilities where the youth can play. Our gyms were torn down during Summer so that the crooks could adversely affect the lives of our youth.
Go visit the Gilman Park in the shadow of Candlestick Park and the Bayview/K.C. Playground and findout for yourself - the state of affairs.
Our City Attorney and Sophie Maxwell will work with Lennar but not with the constituents and the youth.
In this City we got all our priorities screwed up.
Take it from me too many ploys are cooked up at City Hall behind close doors by folks that love the closet. This has been going on for the last 4 years.
It is wrong to keep the constituents in the dark and think that City officials and Mayor Gavin Newsom can get away scott free:
