On December 1st, 2nd and 3rd, Labor Movement activists
from across the nation will meet in Cleveland, Ohio to
debate proposals, strategies, and plans of action to
advance the struggle for an immediate end to U.S. war
& occupation abroad. The 2006 National Labor
Conference Against the War will open with a mass rally
at Cleveland’s Federal Plaza, where thousands will
gather to demand:

NOT ONE MORE LIE, LIFE, DOLLAR, DAY – BRING THE TROOPS
HOME NOW!

For a REPORTBACK on the conference, and to find out
how you can participate in local anti-war & workers’
struggles, join us at one of two forums on upcoming
strategies for the Movement. Nils McCune,
Secretary-Treasurer of Central Coast Workers Against
War (CCWAW) and delegate to the conference, will be
joined by other Monterey Bay Central Labor Council
delegates to discuss their participation in the
Cleveland conference. McCune is a member of the
Brotherhood of Carpenters, Local 505, and a founding
member of CCWAW, a local anti-war force dedicated to
bringing working people to the forefront of the
Anti-War Movement.
