Reading the Berkeley police listings at the http://www.ci.berkeley.ca.us/police site shows that they face an entirely different average day than the UC police who primarily list homeless lodgers and people locked out of buildings.

Plus once they saw him at work at his job in the office where they keep student grades, and this officer who didn't like him decided he must be trespassing and up to no good, and had him removed from the building.
