It took 20 years and countless doctors for filmmaker Laurel Chiten to be properly diagnosed with a form of dystonia, a neurological disorder that forces muscles to involuntarily contract and twist. Following the lives of other people struggling with this disorder, TWISTED shares stories of survival, stigma and hope.
