Voters beware of fraudulent practices of news announcers & news writers in 2006 election!!

by Cris Ericson (crisericson [at] ispwest.com)
Voters beware of fraudulent practices of news announcers & news writers this 2006 election season! Here are some examples of how they seriously & willfully & intentionally deceive you, the voters!!!!!
a1photocris.jpg
Today, Nov. 3, 2006, Steve Delaney of Vermont Public Radio
http://www.vpr.net/vt_news/midday.shtml
called Cris Ericson at 10:30 in the morning.
He told her that he wanted to do a five minute interview of her and tape it over the telephone.
He did tell her he was going to edit it.
He did NOT tell her how he would deceive the voters!

What Steve Delaney did was to ask Cris Ericson questions over the telephone, and then afterwards, he edited them,
and then he wrote questions to fit the edited answers,
and then he put the questions that he wrote after the interview
to fit the edited answers, with the edited answers inserted into a tape,
and aired that.

This is allegedly voter fraud in Cris Ericson's opinion because
Steve Delaney did not tell the voters that he edited Cris Ericson's
answers to his questions, and
then he created and taped new questions to fit the edited answers,
and then he edited the new questions together with the edited answers,
to deceive the voters into thinking that Cris Ericson was actually
answering the questions that he wrote after he edited her answers!

Cris Ericson alleges this is voter fraud.

Cris Ericson alleges that Cathey Resmer of the online newspaper Seven Days Vermont
http://www.sevendaysvt.com/features/2006/back-of-the-pack.html
called her and interviewed her over the telephone and misquoted her.
What is worse,
is that this news feature, is allegedly fraud against the voters in Cris Ericson's opinion,
because it allegedly fraudulently claims to be a news feature when in
fact it is allegedly just a hateful attack against disabled persons trying to intimidate people from seeking employment!

http://www.sevendaysvt.com/features/2006/back-of-the-pack.html

Cathy Resmer and Ken Picard write,
" At best, they're dismissed as wide eyed idealists; at worst, certifiable wing-nuts"
in their description of some of the Vermont 2006 political candidates, including Cris Ericson, whose photo appears to the right of this description of the candidates in the "news feature".

Cris Ericson alleges that this is almost some kind of hate crime against disabled persons because under the federal
Americans with Disabilities Act,
if you perceive someone to be disabled,
("certifiable wing-nut")
or if a person is actually disabled,
to discriminate against them is a violation of the ADA.

Cathy Resmer and Ken Picard are allegedly trying to fraudulently control the outcome of a federal election by asserting that some or all
of the candidates that they write about in this "news feature" are
"certifiable wing-nuts" which implies they are mentally disabled.

Is this a hate crime against mentally disabled persons who have a right and a need to work under the federal Americans with Disabilities Act?

Will disabled persons be intimidated into eternal silence and be afraid to ever speak up and share their political opinions?
