FILM SHOWING ON EVENTS IN OAXACA

San José, California

The Barrio Defense Committee invites the community to listen to lawyers explain what your rights are when the police or the migra stop you. They will answer questions from the community on Monday, November 20, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. sharp at the Centro Aztlan Chicomoztoc at 520 So. 2nd Street (cross street is William) in San Jose, California.

After the questions and answers to the lawyers, the film Grain of Sand will be shown. This is a film about the growing crisis in the southern State of Oaxaca, Mexico. The film showing will be at 7:45 p.m. There will be questions and answers on what is occurring in Oaxaca.

There will be food and refreshments.

Join us on November 20th, commemorating the Mexican Revolution of 1910 with knowing our rights as workers and to learn that the Mexican people continue to struggle to live in dignity.

El Comité de Defensa del Barrio invita a la comunidad para escuchar abogados explicar sobre conocer sus derechos si lo para la policía ó la migra. Estarán con nosotros para contestar las preguntas de la comunidad el Lunes, 20 de Noviembre 2006 a las 6:00 de la tarde en punto en el Centro Aztlán Chicomoztoc, Calle 520 Sur 2da en San José, California.

Despues de las preguntas y respuestas de los abogados, se exhibirá películas contundentes sobre la crisis en el estado de Oaxaca, México. Se exhibirá la película Granito de Arena a las 7:45 p.m. Habrá preguntas y respuestas sobre los acontecimientos.

Habrá antojitos y refrescos.

Acompañenos el 20 de Noviembre, conmemorando la revolución mexicana de 1910 con saber cuales son nuestros derechos como trabajadores y aprender que el pueblo mexicano sigue en lucha por vivir dignamente.
