October 16, 2006 - A Movement is in place with actions every week

by Francisco Da Costa
There was no room on the steps of City Hall to hear some good speakers talk about a MOVEMENT that is here to stay. Mayor Gavin Newsom had no comment because the coward is a Racist and is never with the good people. The City Attorney met me on the steps on City Hall trying to convince me that he was right - I tried to tell him that he did not represent the people and that his decision to invalidate 33,400 signatures was wrong.
At City Hall the Sherrifs Department was under staffed and worried that the constituents gathered
on the steps of City Hall would demand their total attention.

I assured them that all would be well and that this was a MOVEMENT for change and to put our City Hall Racist Mayor and other that are crooks on notice. The constituents were all very well behaved.

We got excellent reports about the constituents that listened to some of the best speakers in the City and County of San Francisco on the Steps of City Hall.

The non-aligned groups that gathered do not bow down to the mandates of City Hall. So absent were all those cronies that do the EVIL work of Mayor Gavin Newsom the most Racist Mayor.

There was NO one politician as a speaker that made this Monday, October 16, 2006 one of a kind meeting of the minds. Unifying the majority of non-aligned organizations to participate in a movement to bring about change by empowering the constituents.

Crooked politicians were put on notice. For sure the Racist, Mayor Gavin Newsom who under estimated the constituents - all well dressed and ready to take the challenge.

This movement was not about the Press but we did have the Press in attention - it was nice to see the Press all in one place and not all over the place when they have the ususal Press Conferences.

Speaker after speaker addressed issues linked to de-peopling of the Bayview Hunters Point. Hundreds of families mostly African Americans are leaving and the City does not care to do anything.

Already, people going to check on the homes and property maps and have been shocked. The City and the SF Redevelopment Agency is trying to take over many homes - and property owners are just finding out about the evil designs of SF Redevelopment Agency (SFRA).

After the speech making the constituents moved to the Civic Center Plaza where the youth and others spoke and people listened.

The diversity of the speakers spoke volumes - Samoan, Phillipino, Native American, African American, Latino - every diverse group was represented.

Before, the Movement Speeches were made the Native Americans initiated the Movement with a Ceremony that called upon the Great Spirit to bless this movement.

Other Spiritual leaders too prayed that our Racist City policies be kept at bay - and that those evil forces that work against the will of the people - awake to the fact that they are now on notice.

October 16 is also the 10th Anniversary of the Million Man March that took place in Washington DC. The Nation of Islam came out to support the MOVEMENT in great numbers.

Politicians were kept at a distance because politicians want the public to hear something for the moment but when the time comes for action - they always do something else.

In our life time we have seen too many politicians fail to serve the people. Many of them in San Francisco.

This is the time to unite and vote in those candidates that walk the walk.

As I said this success will be met with other plans - every week something will happen that will empower the people.
