Eastern Neigborhoods Plan influenced by misinformed Supervisor Maxwell and McGoldrick

by Francisco Da Costa
The Housing Element plays an important role in the policy making at the SF Planning Department, the SF Planning Commission and impacts our Transit First City. Added to that it is critical that the SF Planning Department work on a Transportation Document that is now not in place. Sophie Maxwell has no clue about the Housing Element. Jake has some clue but full of misinformation. Together these two jokers are now introducing Resolutions trying to hoodwink the SF Planning Department and destroy whatever little order remains within the Eastern Neighborhoods and sound Planning. Jake McGoldrick has no role adversely impacting the Eastern Neighborhoods - the only reason he has - is the vendenta against the SF Planning Department. District 2 is far away from the District 6 and District 10.
It used to be called the Land Use Committee.

Then suddenly the jokers decided to add Economic Development.

Headed by the most uneduacated Supervisor - Sophie Maxwell - again and again Sophie Maxwell has got away with murder introducing ill crafted language linked to Resolutions and Ordinances mostly affecting the Bayview Hunters Point and Visitation Valley but now the Eastern Neighborhoods in toto.

Sophie Maxwell has now recruited that JOKER that runs his mouth - words flow from his mouth faster then the signals sent from his brain.

Sophie and JOKE McGoldrick now want to introduce policies through Resolutions on matters that should first be introduced in the SF Planning Department that in turn should be ironed out at the SF Planning Commission.

This is not the first time both Jake McGoldrick and Sophie Maxwell have tried to circumvent the SF Planning Commission and failed. Jake McGoldrick tried to do it with the Better Neighborhood Plus Ordinance and failed.

Every dirty trick in the book was used but the SF Planning Commission got on to it - and shot it down - time and time again. Sent it to the cesspool.

Then, Sophie Maxwell tried to introduce an Ordinance that would benefit Visitation Valley by forcing the developers from Executive to Park to pay for Community Benefits in Visitation Valley. Executive Park always was considered as part of the South Bayshore Plan that the ignorant Sophie Maxwell had not read.

Visitation Valley was never a part of Bayview Hunters Point less the South Bayshore Plan.

Rightfully, the City and County of San Francisco should have looked after Visitation Valley. The City and County of San Francisco is quick to collect taxes both from the thousands of homes and businesses in Visitation Valley - but very slow to repair streets, build a library, fix the swimming pools, and provide other basic community facilities in the area called Visitation Valley.

Sophie Maxwell is quick to take money from the Developers like Signature Property Developers that have property at Executive Park and also shaft them by forcing them to provide Community Benefits at Visitation Valley.

The same tactic was forced on George Yerby the initial property owner of Executive Park who has been held hostage by legislation introduced by Sophie Maxwell.

Sophie Maxwell an electrician could not pass a simple Electrician's Exam in San Francisco. She had to go to Oakland and under dubious circumstance was given that examination and passed.

Sophie Maxwell understands less about Electricity and even less about Land Use and Economic Developement.

Jake McGoldrick purports that he understands Planning but has failed with his Better Neighborhood Plus Ordinance. Time and time again.

Ripe with language that defies logic and crafted by 5 White Men - far removed from the community and less from organizations that are close to neighborhoods. One of them Joe Boss from Dog Patch - an intervernor on the the 3 proposed Combustion Turbines to be placed at Pier 80 closer to Bayview Hunters Point. These men have created more confusion and less sense to the communities affected by such faulty Ordinances.

Why would 5 White Men want to adversely impact thousands of people of color from the Bayview Hunters Point where the Better Neighborhoods Plus Plan - they thought could be implemented?

Sophie Maxwell has again and again introduced Land Use Ordinances affecting Bayview Hunters Point and favoring the SAN FRANCISCO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY (SFRA).

Over 25 meeting and workshops were held by the SF Planning Department under the former Planning Director Green linked to the Eastern Neighborhood Plan. The Eastern Neighborhood Workshop and Plan were suddenly shoved aside.

Sophie Maxwell turned tables and worked hard to expand the Survey Area into a Project Area and suddenly SF Redevelopment Agency had over 2,568 acres directly and indirectly under the control of SFRA. Including Parcel A at Hunters Point which comes under SFRA.

The SF Planning Department has no direct control over SF Redevelopment Agency.

There has been no inept, ignorant, and very arrogant Supervisor in the history of San Francisco that has done do much damage when it comes to Land Use - then Sophie Maxwell.

SFRA has no sound policies - SFRA can cap toxic sites and built homes. SFRA has no accountability less transparency. More with evil Marsha Rosen in the cockpit and aided with Michael Cohen and Jesse Blout with Mayor Gavin Newsom's blessings.

Sophie Maxwell has sold out the community and used the Land Use Committee as her EVIL STAGE.

Again and again the SF Planning Department has called her ploys and put Sophie Maxwell on notice.

Again and again the Ethics Commission has adjudicated Sophie Maxwell's unethical ploys.

Again and again community advocates including Environmental Justice Advocacy has called on the misinformation and faulty Resolutions and Ordianances introduced by Sophie Maxwell.

Again and again Sophie will introduce Ordinances without debate and under the 30 day notice of introduction at the Land Use Committee - then use the votes of the majority of the Committee Members at the Land Use to send the Ordinance or Resolution - to the Full Board.

Again and again 6 Board Members Sean Elsbernd, Fiona Ma, Bevan Dufty, Jake MaGoldrick, Aaron Peskin, and Sophie Maxwell have voted for Sophie Maxwell dubious and very harmful Ordinances and adversely impacted thousands of people.

A clear example the Visitation Valley Better Neighborhood Plan and Community Benefits. Very ill thought of and putting the developers at Executive Park in jeopardy. Changing the boundries of the sound South Bayshore Plan boundaries.

Lack a complete Environmental Impact Report and failing to include a Transportation Document and and complete Cumulative Pollutiion Report of the affected area.

Sophie Maxwell has no clue what 20,000 units will do to Energy Needs and how they will affecte the total energy consumption of San Francisco.

Sophie Maxwell does not care about the pathetic state of affairs of the Phelps Raw Sewage Treatment Plant in the Bayview. It now treats 80 percent of the City of San Francisco's sewage. Including all the sewage from the Presidio of San Francisco.

It also treat a 100 percent from Daly City, Colma, Brisbane, and Burlingame. MOST SAN FRANCISCANS ARE NOT AWARE OF THIS FACT.

Sophie Maxwell has no clue about how this one single fact affects District 10 more and all of San Francisco.

Global Warming, will give us less then 3 years to replace our dual sewage system linked to the Sewage Plants we have. Salt water will penetrate our systems and completely shut them off.

How can we continue to build thousands of units and have no plan in place to fix the Sewage Treatment Plants - that will NOT be able to handle our increased sewage?

Where will get our extra energy to handle the over 20,000 units in the pipe line?

We have no sound Housing Element. We have no sound Transportation Document from the SF Planning Department.

We have a failed Eastern Neighborhood Plan that adversely impacts the South of Market Area. At this time poor folks will be pushed into oblivion. Forget about diversity - the most affected will the Phillipino Community.

In the Bayview Hunters Point - SF Redevelopment Agency is working closely with Sophie Maxwell to destory the African American Community.

Once 25 percent of San Francisco's population was African American - it is now 5 percent.

In the Bayview Hunters Point - hundreds of African American families are leaving - families are leaving. In 5 years less then 7 percent of the population in the Bayview Hunters Point will be African American. Remember, you heard it first here.

Remember, Sophie Maxwell a Black helped in this ethnic cleansing!

Hundreds of African American youth are on Urban Terrorists Lists.

In one year's time they will be incarcerated. Others will follow. In many areas we have lost a whole generation of male African Americans in our neighborhoods. No one is talking about this?

Sophie Maxwell and Jake McGoldrick - are jokers - have adversely impacted large area of San Francisco. They have with intent harmed thousands of constituents with their misinformation and faulty Resolutions and Ordinances.
