Bike Cafe in Santa Cruz
A group of local velo-thusiasts are organizing the first Bike Cafe in Santa Cruz. It is going to be a combination of free skool and a-cafe, but with bikes! The event is going to be held on November 12 from 2-8pm and will be centered at the Bike Church.
Not only do we need people to get exited and show up to our different workshops and events, we need people to lead them! If you're interested in helping out in any way, please contact me at the listed email. A few ideas that have already been put out there are bike jousting, bike ballet, pixie racing (on tiny bikes), workshops on making bike related things (rear-view mirrors and anti-car magnets). All of these events will be held in Sata Cruz, but the location is up to the leader. The Bike Church has allowed us use of their space so we can hold fix-it workshops and use the Hub as a center point for the day's evennts. We were hoping to get as many people involved as possible and have as many 30 minute to 1 hour workshops/events as possible. If you have any ideas, please contact me at the listed email. Thanks to everyone for helping and we hope to see you at the next mystery ride (Superhero Ride!).
