The event is to commemorate those who have passed, especially the lives lost in struggle. We encourage our guests to bring memoirs of their heroes and loved ones to contribute to the ofrenda/altar.

The Chiapas Support Committee is an all-volunteer grassroots group based in Oakland that provides political and economic support to the communities in Chiapas, Mexico, as well as provides education about Chiapas and Mexico to the local community.
