Come to the Community Peace Tashlick
Sunday, September 24, 3 PM at the Emeryville Marina

Tashlich is a ritual held at the start of the Jewish New Year when Jews and our allies cast the wrongdoings of the past year into moving waters.

With heavy hearts, we gather to discard that which holds us back from our immense potential as peacemakers: our fears, doubts, despair, confusion, isolation, shame and silence.

Using music, poetry and ceremony, we honor the Jewish teachings of tikkun olam, the repair of the world, and re-new our commitment to work for peace and justice in our world.

Directions:

Powell Street exit is off Interstate 580 West. Follow Powell Street towards
the bay past the Holiday Inn and Watergate apartment complex. The road
curves to the right. Follow it to the end and park. The event is a short walk
from the parking lot.

No signs please. Everyone is welcome.
