Film Series on Reigning Lies
by Robert Greenwald

UNCOVERED: the Whole Truth about the Iraq War

Filmmaker Robert Greenwald deconstructs the administration’s case for war through interviews with U.S. intelligence and defense officials, foreign service experts, and U.N. weapons inspectors -- including a former CIA director, a former ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and even President Bush's Secretary of the Army. Their analyses and conclusions are sobering and disturbing. Greenwald doesn’t strain to make Dubbya look inept or Colin Powell look disingenuous or Dick Cheney look like the Antichrist. He lets them do it themselves. He focuses on a simple, demonstrable point: that the war in Iraq was sold to Congress and the American public through a coordinated series of public misstatements. The film makes it obvious that the Bush administration hoodwinked the American people into supporting an unnecessary war -- a war that has claimed tens of thousands of lives, and continues today.

Before and after the films, everyone’s invited to indulge in our Humanist Tea House
