Have you heard of the Working Families for Wal-Mart campaign?

by via WalMart Watch
It's a pet-project of new Wal-Mart executive Leslie Dach, aiming to buy the hearts and souls of America's consumers with lofty rhetoric about patriotic duty.

A couple of weeks ago, we first introduced you to the "for Wal-Mart" ad campaign - a media blitz run by former DC consultant Dach - which claims that shopping at Wal-Mart buys "a whole lot of freedom."

We're not going to let Wal-Mart get away with its phony grassroots campaign. As the largest corporation in America, they have to be held to a higher standard of certain moral responsibilities, as we outlined in "A Handshake with Sam," our platform for changing Wal-Mart, earlier this year.

Call on Wal-Mart to end its Working Families for Wal-Mart ad campaign:

Since we first emailed you about Leslie Dach, Wal-Mart Watch has been hard at work, calling on the attorney general offices in Arizona and Nebraska, where the ads are airing, to pull the blatantly misleading ads off the air.

But Wal-Mart - and Leslie Dach especially - should know better than to lie to the American people about its good business policies.

Let Leslie Dach know that he needs to stop the spin:

Thank you,

Andrew Grossman
