FREE CONG THANH DO Petition Campaign

U.S citizen and human rights activist CONG THANH DO has been held in Vietnam since August 14, 2006. He is being held for his peaceful expression of his political views and his membership in the underground People's Democracy Party for Vietnam. He is an activist fighting for a multi-party political system in Vietnam through non-violence. As of August 31, 2006, Do has declared a HUNGER STRIKE in protest to his detainment. Come to this meeting to learn about how you can help and be active in fighting for this man's freedom. The US government needs to make DO's return home a priority and keep its promise to protect its citizens when overseas.
