PARTYIN’ Benefit for "Patrice" Batya Ackerman

Dear Friends,

My daughter "Patrice" Batya Ackerman suffered a massive stroke & left her body on the evening of 8/16/06 surrounded by family & friends. I ask for your presence & help Wednesday, August 23rd at 6pm @ La Peña Cultural Center in Berkeley, to raise funds for her funeral & grave plot & stone. My baby was godchild of musician Rahsaan Roland Kirk & was 45 years old. Batya was the mother of 4 sons & 2 grandsons. My daughter was a professional cook & craftswoman & had dreams of one day owning a child care center. I will miss her forever.

If for whatever reason you cannot attend, but would like to contribute make all checks payable to:

"Patrice" Batya Ackerman
Benevolent Acct. #3110000028482

Peace & thanks in advance.
