OPEN HOUSE FRIDAY!
Come to our open house this Friday, August 25th from 5 to 7pm at the Uhuru Solidarity Center from 5 to 7pm at 1601 - 2nd Ave in Oakland to find out about the African People's Solidarity Committee and the campaign for African People's Solidarity Day coming November 4th and 5th in Oakland and San Francisco, an event expressing unity from the white community for the development of Africa's rich resources in the hands of and for the benefit of African people themselves.
FILM SHOWING FOLLOWING THE OPEN HOUSE!
At 7pm, we will show "Aristide and the Endless Revolution" at the Uhuru Solidarity Center, 1601 - 2nd Ave in Oakland, a film that documents the US orchestrated coup of popularly elected Jean Bertrand Aristide. Following the film, we will discuss the struggle of African people in Haiti, the efforts of African people to unite worldwide and how we can get involved.
