Filmmakers Need Your Support... Again!

The Second Annual Haydenfilms ONLINE Film Festival will begin August 30th and end on October 30th of 2006, and the 50 semi-finalists need your help! Their short films will be available ONLINE at http://www.haydenfilms.com and your participation is essential to the outcome of the festival, as the votes of the members determine the $10,000 grand prize winner!

In addition to the interactive voting mechanism that members are familiar with from Season One, Haydenfilms has recently teamed up with Bside Entertainment to bring the Haydenfilms members a unique online festival experience, with film reviews, blogging, updates and feedback on favorite festival films. Of course, the membership is FREE, and by signing up to participate in the voting process, each member would be eligible to win a $250 Viewer Appreciation Award.

In January of 2007, Haydenfilms will host their Second Annual Award Ceremony in New York City at the prestigious Director’s Guild Theater to honor the top four filmmakers and announce the $10,000 grand prize winner. The three runners-up will be presented prize packages valuing up to $1500 from their generous sponsors.

The Annual Online Film Festival is just one aspect of the website, which
is quickly becoming independent filmmakers’ one-stop-shop. The
"Connections" section of the website is a wonderful networking tool for
everyone in entertainment! You can post a description of your company and a link to your web site in the Resources, post your casting and crew calls on the Production Board, and add your experience to the Crew Database.
