This is a symposuim to address various issues that are impacting the Black community and our lives. Cheryl Mims, LCSW is the host and will be introducing 8 speakers to discuss their area of expertise and share with the audience concerns, how did we get there and what can we do differently. Dr. Wade Nobles, Pamela Pitts, Evelyn Polk, Kinwood DeVore, Dr. Billy Lee, Lonnie Hairston, Bonnie Robinson and Anthony Parnell will be presenting.

The audience will have a chance to sign up for a committe of their choice as this event will serve as a call to action and hopefully they will be empowered to seek and make a difference by using their voices. The goal is to bring about change and tools to utilize in our problem solving situations.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Omega Boy's & Girls Club, Sister's Network, a Breast cancer support group and Milestones of Development, serving the mentally disabled and handicapped.
