The 11th Annual SF Drag King Contest

DragStrip presents the 11th Annual San Francisco Drag King Contest, a testosterone-fueled bash of the binary system and a benefit for P.A.W.S. (Pets Are Wonderful Support). Contestants are judged on talent, creativity, studliness/sex appeal, originality, humor, make-up/facial hair and fashion.
The Dragtastic Duo of Fudgie Frottage   and Rusty Hips preside over the festivities.
Featuring: Jay Walker, The Momma's Boyz, Howie Weenis, Arty Fishal, The Indra, Cherry Lix &
The Twilight Vixen Revue,  the fab drag rock band Pepperspray — and the contestants!
Judges: Alotta Boutté [of Harlem Shake Burlesque], Lynnee Breedlove, Kielbasia,
Skeeter Wildman, and Shelly Mars aka Martin.
DRESS CODE: King, Queen, Faux, Fetish, Formal, High Femme, Festive.
$20 advance, and $25 at the door.

Join the GLBT Historical Society for a special reception and open house to honor the legacy of San Francisco LGBT politics, political organizing, and politicians.  The event will showcase the Historical Society galleries and offers a chance to gather, socialize, and commemorate across party lines prior to the final stretch of election season. Special mini-exhibit of rare GLBT political artifacts from the past 50 years, and politically-oriented tours of the archives' holdings.
