As Long as the Rivers Flow: Produced by Thunder Bay Indy Media in Ontario

The film chronicles Canada's longest standing and highest profile indigenous logging blockades--established by two sisters three years ago.

Director David Clement's "As Long As the Rivers Flow: The Grassy Narrows Blockade Story" tracks Grassy Narrows' continuing battle to defend its native lands from two of the world's largest logging companies, Abitibi and Weyerhaeuser.

You'll see powerful footage of the clear-cuts on Grassy's land, the human blockade of logging trucks and the bold strength of a community coming together to ensure its survival. This film will be presented this Wednesday by Rainforest Action Network.
