8/26: Just around the corner: Sistahs Steppin’ in Pride

*March:* Gather at the Lake Merritt pillars at 11 a.m. and march at noon. Bring your
friends, your drum (or borrow one of ours), and join us as we fill the streets with our
voices and merry-making!

*Festival:* The free celebration continues from 1 to 6 p.m. in Snow Park's Sistah Village
(Harrison between 19th & 20th Streets).

Don’t just sing in the shower or in the car!! Make beautiful music with *Sistahs Singin'
in Pride*! Led by the phenomenally talented artists Melanie DeMore and Michelle Jordan,
our choir’s gonna perform onstage at the Festival on August 26th and raise the roof off
the sky (yep, that’s right!). Don’t be shy! SING!

Your voices will ring from the Festival into the following weekend, ‘cause Sistahs
Singin’ in Pride will ALSO perform at Oakland’s *ART & SOUL FESTIVAL*, Sept. 3, 4, & 5.

Join Sistahs Steppin' in Pride for an afternoon of pride, connection, entertainment,
vendors, food, and fun! We’re celebrating our East Bay communities!
